About Our Facilitators
Dr Swapna Dayanandan [Founder of Kampong Palliative Care]
Dr Swapna Dayanandan, Ph.D. (Gerontology), is CEO and Founder of Joy in Living Aged Care Services Pte Ltd, a social enterprise providing geron-technology and innovative eldercare solutions to tackle the ageing opportunities in Singapore and globally. Dr Swapna is an Associate Faculty with the Singapore University of Social Sciences. She heads the Smart Healthcare Workgroup of Smart Cities Network and is currently involved in several smart healthcare projects in ASEAN. Dr Swapna is the Chief Learning Advisor to the Singapore Leaders Network, Human Capital Leadership Institute.
Dr Swapna is past President and continues to serve on the board of Sree Narayana Mission, Singapore (SNM), a social service agency in the eldercare sector. She was the recipient of two National Day Awards: The Commendation Medal, 2018 and the Long Service Medal, 2021.
Dr Rinkoo Ghosh [Active Member of Kampong Palliative Care]
Dr Rinkoo Ghosh, DBA, is a Senior Consultant and Principal Learning Specialist at the Civil Service College, specializing in empathy, resilience, and service delivery. With over 29 years of experience as a Learning Strategist and Lead Facilitator, she now consults for public, social, and private sectors, and leads her own venture, The Resilience Edge. Dr Rinkoo also serves as a Senior Consultant and Coach for Resilience Institute, South East Asia.
Her qualifications include a Master and Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication, a Graduate Diploma in Learning Organisation, and certifications in emotional quotient, seven habits, and resilience, among others. A seasoned caregiver for parents with heart disease and dementia, Dr Rinkoo volunteers with Caregivers Alliance Limited, conducting resilience talks, and serves on the boards of Sree Narayana Mission and Silver Caregivers Co-operative Limited.
